The Demolition Process
Safety is always our primary concern, and cleanup is also an important factor in determining the demolition strategy.
If your building is a single or two-storey building, we may use a simple undermining process that utilizes a hydraulic excavator. This process allows our supervisors to control how and where the structure will fall. In most cases, walls are undermined at the base of the building, unless the design of the structure requires otherwise.
Larger or multi-level building may require the use of a crane and wrecking ball. This equipment is used to bring the structure down to a manageable height.
Hydraulic equipment including dozers, loaders and excavators may also be used with beams that will ram the building walls, and trucks or skid loaders will be on hand to sort and remove building materials.
